Chairman Steele and I have an ambitious agenda for the Party and I have a particular interest in strengthening women's contributions through the RNC's Women's Interactive Network. Women represent a majority in today's politics and it is my goal to provide avenues for their involvement in Republican initiatives at every level. Our efforts are well underway, and I look forward to working with you as we continue to support grassroots organizations, collaborate with our State Parties, recruit women candidates, and ultimately WIN elections!

In June, we held the first annual RNC Women's Summit. More than 300 women from around the country joined us in Washington, DC to hear from prominent speakers, including opinion leaders, pollsters, Members of Congress, and Republican candidates. Panels and presentations included information on polling, legislative issues, candidate recruitment, new media practices, and the vision for the future of the GOP. Additionally, attendees had the ability to network with Republican women from around the country and hear first-hand about plans for the RNC Women's Program. Be sure to join us on rncwomen.com, our action center. Through this site, you will be able to connect with members of the RNC's Women's Program from across the country. I urge you to set up groups, post information about your efforts within your states, and participate in our forums.
